Introduction & Challenge

Introduction:

Shamanic Healing by Lisa is a website established to provide spiritual healing services to those seeking to improve their mental, emotional and physical well-being. The website offers a wide range of services including cacao ceremonies, shamanic healing, psychic card reading, women’s circles, and breathwork. All of these services are designed to help individuals connect with their inner selves, release negative energy and find peace within.

Challenge:

The challenge was to create a website that accurately represented her healing services and attracted clients who were interested in seeking spiritual healing. This involved creating a website that was both user-friendly and visually appealing, while also being optimized for search engines. Additionally, Lisa wanted to provide educational resources and information about each of her services through videos and written content. By contracting Nexus WebWorks, we were able to overcome these challenges and create a website that not only met her expectations but also helped her fulfill her dream of helping others heal.

Nexus WebWorks Created All The Assets

A large part of what we did was to incorporate emotive and SEO-optimized copywriting. The copy was written to be useful, following Google’s Helpful Content guidelines, as well as being focused on SEO. We also created all of the video assets, and ensured proper integration of all the systems.

Video Assets

In order to both educate, as well as inspire Lisa’s prospects, Nexus created various video assets to complement each of her services so that people can easily understand what she offers.

Video is also far better at converting clients than copy. Here’s an example of one of the videos we designed for her.

Booking System

In order to make the process as easy as possible, we opted for a built-in booking system.

The booking system has a variety of features, including full Stripe integration, eMail notifications, as well as automated 2-way Google Calendar syncing so that Lisa has her calendar slots booked automatically.

The booking system also creates a seamless experience for her clients which improves the conversion rate.

This design, and flow, is all part of the User Experience Design (UX). We also added Reviews for her services right under the booking widget to answer any objections that clients might have.

Performance Optimization

Website Speed, and Google’s Core Vitals, are ranking factors. As a matter of fact, website speed is that important, that up to 38% of customers bounce (Click back before the site loads), if the website takes longer than 3 seconds to load.

We built Lisa’s website with performance best practices in mind, by losslessly compressing all of the images, loading the videos insides iframes and lightboxes, and then ensuring that the DOM elements, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript (JS), and HTML were all optimized.

We also implemented effective cache policies, and used Cloudflare as a firewall and content delivery network to harden security and to create a fast load speed globally.

We also strictly build WordPress websites on CloudWays VULTR servers, and launch the servers in the target market location, which, for this website, is the UK. CloudWays offer the best servers from any of the cloud hosting services we have tried.

Lisa’s website is loaded in 1.4 seconds, but counted as fully loaded in 2.8 seconds because the Google Tag Manager is deploying. The LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) of 493ms and onload time of 1.4 seconds are the metrics that matter the most for the User Experience. The load speed in the UK is almost instant, with a performance score of 100%.
