The rise of e-commerce has transformed the way consumers shop and has led to a significant increase in online sales. The Art Canvas Factory is a small business that sells custom-made canvasses and art supplies to artists. The company wanted to create an online store that would allow it to expand its customer base and increase revenue. To achieve this goal, Art Canvas Factory partnered with Nexus WebWorks, a digital agency that specializes in building e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform.
The challenge for Nexus WebWorks was to build an online store for Art Canvas Factory that would offer a seamless shopping experience for customers while also providing the necessary functionality for the business to manage its operations efficiently. The online store needed to have an intuitive user interface, be responsive to different screen sizes, and load quickly. Additionally, the store needed to integrate with Art Canvas Factory’s existing inventory and order management systems to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment. Another challenge was to design a store that would reflect the unique aesthetic of Art Canvas Factory and its products while also appealing to a broad range of potential customers. Finally, the online store had to be optimized for search engines and social media to attract new customers and increase sales.
Since the client wanted the store built on Shopify, we decided to focus on opening up new channels for organic sales. We focused on building the website to best practices, but Shopify does have limited design & performance optimization capabilities. This can sometimes be a hindrance to CRO strategies, and we always suggest building your website on WordPress/WooCommerce.
Nexus integrated Instagram and Facebook shops into the website. This allowed Art Canvas Factory to leverage the social media platforms to reach a wider audience and drive more traffic to their online store. With Instagram and Facebook shops, Art Canvas Factory could showcase their products to their social media followers and allow them to make purchases without ever leaving the platform.
To further increase organic traffic to the website, Nexus also integrated the Google Merchant Center into the online store. This allowed Art Canvas Factory’s products to be listed on Google Shopping, increasing their visibility in search results and attracting more potential customers to the website.
Overall, Nexus WebWorks’ integration of advanced analytics, Instagram and Facebook shops, and the Google Merchant Center helped Art Canvas Factory increase their online presence, attract more customers, and ultimately increase sales.
